to Enroll in a Session
SDTRHR’s equine-assisted
therapy consists of 45-60 minute lessons of one-on-one instruction
with a NARHA-certified riding instructor. The lessons may
include the following:
- Grooming
- Tacking
- Riding Tasks-appropriate to disability
- Games
- Stable Chores
To enroll
with SDTRHR:

in SDTRHR. At this time, we have a waiting list
and don't anticipate starting new participants until January
2008. You can submit your application, but please
do not send any payments. When a spot opens, you will be
contacted. Thank you!
- Step One: The
Student Application and the Physician's Statement must be completed.

- Step Two: Contact
SDTRHR at 302-644-1920 when your application is complete.
- Step Three: Evaluation
will be set-up. Cost of evaluation is $25 and will usually entail
riding.
- Step Four: Participant
will be assigned a schedule.
COST
The cost of each equine-assisted therapy lesson is $30 (discounts
are applied for payments made in advance).
There are partial and full scholarships available.

Session I: 9 Weeks ($270)
Session II: 11 Weeks ($330)
Session III: 9 Weeks ($270)
Session IV: 8 Weeks ($240)
