Thank you for your interest in volunteering for SDTRHR! Without the support and dedication of volunteers, SDTRHR would not be able to offer this invaluable service. There are many ways in which your time and efforts can benefit the success of this program. Not a “horse-person”, not to worry! There are many ways you can help SDTRHR without being around horses!

>>> Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

• Horse Leaders on Saturday and some weekday lessons
• Side Walkers on Saturday and some weekday lessons
• Fundraising Events – mailings, registration and set-up
• Assisting with fundraising efforts – soliciting sponsors, etc.
• Board Members

SDTRHR would greatly appreciate your time and talents with our fun and rewarding program! No horse experience is needed but everyone must attend a volunteer training session at the farm.
