SDTR held its 6th Annual Barn Dance, on Saturday, October 16th, in their indoor arena, located in Milton, DE. Guests dined on BBQ from Whole Roast BBQ Services, and danced to the music of the Mason Dixon Band.

SDTR has been chosen as an awardee of the Milton Award Program, which is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local organizations throughout the Milton area. Recognition is given to those organizations that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

On October 13th we honored SDTR Major Donors at a reception for more than 50 guests at the farm. It was a special evening for us to express heartfelt thanks by unveiling our Major Donor Sign in the arena viewing area and our Major Partnerships Sign at the entrance to our facility in order to recognize those who helped build the facility.

There’s a special flagpole you’ll pass at the main entrance of Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding that has more than a few stories to tell.

A 17-year-old boy who served our country in the Korean War and never returned is honored with a flagpole flying an American flag at the main entrance of Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding (SDTR).

On a warm Saturday in late September that pole flew our flag over three other veterans – now serving as SDTR volunteers – being honored for their military service.
